A Little About Me…

I’m a local 700 motion picture film editor who specializes in scripted, character-driven features. I love engaging stories in any genre, from light-hearted comedies to intense performance-driven dramas. I’m fascinated with characters who are taking deeply personal journeys and passionate about finding the best possible artistic approach to visualize their arcs.

A graduate of the USC School of Cinema and Television, I’ve had 15+ years of experience working on a variety of projects including feature films, short films, commercials, web content, animated projects, pitches, and look books. A tech-savvy student of story and character, I love to guide, encourage, and collaborate with directors, producers, and filmmakers towards achieving the finest possible cinematic work.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I took an early interest in art and cinema. I was selected for a mentorship with famed Disney figure artist Mark McDonnell, and after USC, I continued to develop my artistic eye working in movie advertising, creating promotional material and key art for films like Spider-man 3 and Batman Begins.

When not working in the editing room, I can be found hiking trails around Los Angeles or out whale watching or simply enjoying time with my wife and young daughter.
